Leo just followed her train of thought. A downfall. People wanted to see him fail? Because he was a good person? Because things were seemingly working out? Was that fair? but he knew he'd give them plenty to talk about. Rowena was right though, he had to be bold about it, come right out and end things with Sophia.... but.... he worked for her parents, the families were old friends, Sophia loved him and had her whole future planned out around him, she'd often told him them all. And he was going to rip the rug out from under her.
Could she ever forgive him for that?
"Rowena, I already am cheating.. not sex... but.... cheating..." Leo admitted when she mentioned a cocky man cheating on his wife. Granted Leo was neither married nor cocky. But he was in love, was it so simple? There was so much to think about, if she would leave--though she said she didn't have anything to go back too......
"But you're right, about all of it...."
ooc-- haha, i gotcha. and i love your streams on consciousness

Rowena let out a sigh - a long, exasperated sigh. Then silence enveloped the moment. Birds chirped from somewhere nearby. The ducks occasionally let out an obnoxious quack. Cicades provided a mellow but constant background. Finally Rowena got up and assumed the seat next to Leo and wrapped her arms around his head and pulled him close. After a moment she let go and clasped his face in her hands. "Be thou HEALED!" She declared and let go. Then she patted him on the shoulder. "... Well ..." She watched the large clouds float overhead. Those clouds were in the sky a hundred years ago, and they would be hear a thousand years even after they were gone. The cycles of nature, infinite would continue regardless of their drama and presence. "... it all doesn't matter anyway ..." The birds continued chirping reassuringly, the cicades still played in the background.

She never ceased to amaze him. Healing him? As if she were a priest. The funny thing was that he did feel a bit better, still worried--no, terrified-- of what might be coming. But maybe he really was doing the right thing, by loving Kim. Maybe it would be alright.... Leo just couldn't be sure.
"Thanks." He managed to say, flashing her a small smile of gratitude. But he stood up with a little sigh and ran his fingers through his hair. he had a lot more to think about now. He needed to really think before he went home, and really should continue his jog.
"I'm gonna go, it was nice running into you." And it was. He nodded once before he started off on his jog again.
