In a town this small, everyone knows everything there is to know... The rumors have to circulate somehow, though! There's an old picnic area on the outside edge of the park. People have been writing rumors on every available surface for years.

Step right up and gain admission for the carnival. They'll give you a roll of tickets to pay for the rides as well as a hand stamp for admission all day.

A large, gated, high, elaborate metal fence that surrounds the whole carnival, this is the only way out or in of the fair.

Colored balloons of all sizes and for all ages. Come on, who doesn't love a balloon?

The largest red and white stripped tent, all main events held inside.

The carnies live in these trailers, but the area is usually very empty, good luck finding anyone. Most people steer clear of this place.

It looks steady enough... even if some bolts are rusty. Its large and colorful, lights up at night and always works. A sure fire attraction.

Darts, shooting ranges, ring and bottles, pins and cans, strong man--- Any game that you can win a prize playing.

A large set up with the craziest mirror imaginable. Try not to loose yourself.

If you can hit the target, you can dunk a carnie--or perhaps a willing volunteer from the crowd.

Its a wonder how they manage to transport it every year, but the house of horrors that has people screaming to amazing lengths always draws a crowd. A few people however, never come out.

Get here early to avoid the lines. Probably one of the safest rides (you can't get kidnapped while on it) And who doesn't love feeling like they're flying?

A loudspeaker attached to a pole in the middle of the grounds. It is the only one in the whole park, it plays the music and makes the announcements. Wonder how the sound carries so far?

Of course they sell things like sparklers, but they also sell things you could get in trouble for, so watch out, and please, try not to set the town on fire.

Dimitri is known to convert the most notable cynics, why don't you give it a go?

For dance performances, occasional bands, magic shows and plays.

Come here for you palm or card readings. The old lady decked in shawls might frighten you, but her predictions--dark as they may be-- often come true.

Brightly painted horses go up and down to endless seemingly happy tunes.

Like a zoo without the admission, where they keep all the show animals. But be careful, the cages aren't that sturdy. It might be safer to keep your distance.

These people wander around the show. For example, a man swallowing flame and the bearded lady.

A giant inflatable box, usually for young children, but they made it extra strong, so anyone could jump inside. Shoes off first.

Cotton candy, popcorn, soft pretzels, hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries, onion rings.

Entertains the little kids. The sets and puppets are elaborate more often than not. The stories are always strange and new.

If you are a visitor, you stay here. One of the more modern buildings in town.

Town residents live here. Clean and neat trimmed lawns, lots of land at low prices.

Want some informal Italian food? This is your place, pizza, pasta and more.

Its the only hospital close by and they are always low on staff, but we promise you'll get the best treatment possible.

No one needs to study anymore, but since there's no bookstore, this is the only place to find anything to read. Did we mention its air conditioned?

The pond is located behind the library. There's a flock of ducks that comes every year, some people name them--and don't have much luck keeping them all straight.

School's out for the summer (except for those poor fools in summer school), but people still hang out on the field or use the parking lot.

For stamps, paper, gum, mints, cards, candy and anything else you could possibly want. Ice cream store in the back.

Large pool for a small town. Main pool, kiddie pool and diving tank. Not much parking though.

It's not very big, it's not very fancy, but it's the closest thing to a mall this town has.

Burger and fries anyone? Pool tables and a bar as well. Most people tend to be pretty slack on the license rules around here.

Only three theaters, so only 3 movies showing at a time, but they often rotate in new movies (and sometimes old ones for people who want to see them on the big screen for town movie nights.

The Little League has games here, but during the summer the locals often make teams and scrimmage for fun.

Back for another visit? Gotta get out of this town? Welcome the newcomers and wave to the travelers, this is the only way out of here.

The big stone steps are a popular place to sit. Great view of the summertime fireworks. Council meetings held inside of course.

Come here for cheap, cool stuff. Just a warning, the store clerk loves incense.

A cosy place with good food just like ma used to make, sit in a booth or at a table.

The river is about knee deep, children love to catch frogs in it. While the lake is good for fishing, boating or swimming.

A pretty wood bridge over the Oakwood River.

A beautiful park filled with flowers, benches and pathways to the dunk pond and bridge.

A small church with a large graveyard out back. So many have lived here for generations that their whole families are buried here.

Where the town puts their trash, sure, it smells, but one man's trash is another man's treasure.

The Caldwell's moved out ages ago, but the land was no good so they couldn't sell, but they just keep paying the taxes.

Jack Giddieon loves his horse ranch, and often needs help keeping it up. He brings in some extra cash by teaching kids to ride.

The Parson farm is too big for anyone to keep track of, people are always sneaking inside to play among the wheat and take a few vegetables right off the vine. Good thing the family is good natured.
