It was mid-afternoon on Saturday. While the whole family was at the ranch, fixing things, she was off doing her own thing. Sophia was at the house, cleaning up since she had nothing to do. Missing Leo, as always when he’s not with her, she decided to finish up the cleaning and go to the park. She was humming along the song that was playing on the radio in the living room. It was her favorite time of the day especially when the weather is perfect. Feeling the cool breeze through the open windows and door, she smiled to herself.
Sophia was finished cleaning, that was spotless. She went to the take a nice long cold water shower to help her relax. It didn’t take long as it usually does to take a shower; probably half-hour. Sophia got out of the shower, went to wear something nice, and called Leo to meet her in the park in an hour or so. Quickly, she went into the kitchen made little snacks for them, got couple bottles of cool water and was headed out the door. She was just happy to see Leo without a doubt. Not seeing him for whole week, she was really desperate to see him and be in his arms. Sophia feels safe in his arms and well just being with him makes her happy. She doesn’t see the world outside of him when she’s with him. It’s what love does to her.
Walking to the park, greeting people on the way; made her even happier. It was her perfect day for her; nothing could go wrong. Once at the park seeing people walking, enjoying their day, she found a nice spot under the big oak tree, unfolded the blanket and set it on the ground before waiting for Leo to come. Sophia was looking at the kids who were playing at the playground, laughing and having great time.

outfit Leo had spent the early morning jogging like he always did, and after that he was out at the ranch helping his future in laws with a few things, like shoeing a few horses and getting fallen tree branches out of the pasture. It wasn't hard work, Leo was used to that sort of thing by now.
After Sophia called he rushed home to shower in order to get the dirt and sweat off. He threw on a some clean clothes and walked to the park where they had agreed to meet. Leo was working hard these past few days, trying to earn a bit more money before the wedding --a date which they were yet to set-- His family had less money than hers did, and despite the fact that Sophia and Leo would inherit the ranch, he wanted to have enough to support her on his own.
He saw her sitting under a tree, watching the kids playing and he smiled. They'd both always liked kids, he figured they'd have plenty. They sure had more than enough room. Once she noticed him, Leo waved and cracked a smile. "Hey there sunshine." He said as he sat down beside her, planting a soft kiss on her lips.

Watching the kids play, made her smile. Sophia knew that one day, she and Leo would have their own children. Especially both of them know for a fact that they love kids. It’ll be different around the house when she gets pregnant then having little kids running around the house and being free. The picture was just beautiful to her. Just thinking about kids, she realized that the wedding was going to be first; feeling little jittery about it. Mrs. Leonardo Madison. Sophia blushed at the thought. Who could blame soon-to-be bride to think about her new name?
From corner from her eye, she saw Leo. Quickly, she turned her attention towards him, giving him smile. She’s always happy to be around him. He’s so cute! Especially when he wears white shirt and jeans. The outfit that Leo was wearing, was one of Sophia’s favorite. The whole calling him thing was just a little date that she had in mind. After all, they needed some time alone and be themselves. She could smell cologne that she did not recognize--it was different than what he normally has. It didn’t matter to Sophia; as long as she’s with Leo everything is going to be great.
"Hey babe." She said after the kiss. Sophia leaned against Leo, happily and enjoying the sun. She loved the park, it has so many memories of her childhood, and of course with Leo. "I missed you. How was your day?" She looked at Leo right in his eyes, just hoping that the never would never end. OUTFIT

"I missed you too," He said stroking her hair lightly. She was awfully well dressed for a park picnic, but he didn't care, she looked great. He stroked her leg lightly, letting her recline on his chest. They'd spent so many afternoons like this, leaning under trees in the warm shade. "My day was fine, working as usual, and seeing you."
"What have you done today?" Leo asked. Sometimes he forgot that they would someday soon be Mr and Mrs Leonard Madison. It was really a scary thought, he was so young, and he could already see his entire life. He'd grown up just like his parents, just like hers.

Sophia went back leaning against Leo. It’s where she belonged and no where else. It wasn’t hard for her to be comfortable with Leo. She got used to it over the years being around him and his family. Remembering for the first time she saw Leo, she was nervous and would never thought that one day she’s going to be engaged to him. It was becoming true to her—like her dream is just coming true. Well almost. Her dream will come true when she marries Leo and start their family.
When the time was right, Sophia has to start doing some wedding planning; especially finding the right wedding dress for her. She wanted to look gorgeous like every bride in the world. Just as Leo told her what he did, she chuckled. It was little routine he does when they’re not together. "Cleaned the house. Then I called you, since I didn’t see you the whole day and partly the week. " Sophia didn’t care about what people thought about them being together, they’re soon to be husband and wife.
Both of the families were happy about it when they told them that they want to be life partners. You could say that it goes in the family because Sophia’s were high school sweetheart and her dad proposed to her mom after they were done with high school. That went for Leo’s parents too.

Leo smiled softly, Sophia was already becoming a house wife: cleaning, calling the husband home from work, making a lunch, going out to a picnic in a dress. they were going to be the same picture perfect American dream family. Them and their kids, playing in fields, eating apple pie and watching baseball on small TVs. That's just how life was around here in Oakwood.
They sat in silence, watching the kids and listening to the rustle of the wind in the leaves. No doubt they'd spend many afternoons like this, and many nights in each other's arms, both now and forever. It was all written out. People here married their high school lovers, some went to college, some didn't, most came back and did things the way their parents had.
Very different from the travelers who came, they had such a different view of how life was, it made leo feel like he was living in the past, like he was already an old man. "Bunch of new faces in town today, I figure another train full of carnival goers stopped by."

Married life in Oakwood was different compare to married city life or anything basically. One is that, women, doesn’t have too go to go to work, if they don’t have work, that is. Second is that, they can enjoy their life without worrying about drama and crap. In some people’s case is fine. But to others isn’t. Everywhere, no matter where people live, there’s always going to be gossip and people talking trash about other people. Even if it’s their best friend.
To Sophia, nothing bothers her. Not gossip, hatred, absolute nothing. She was raised to be loyal to people, help others out, and well just be herself. Which what she loves most about herself, is that she doesn’t have to pretend that she’s someone else. Getting along with people is what she loves. And what most people do like it when they’re around Sophia. She just makes things better. You can say that she’s someone that is there to help you out.
Sophia hummed one of the songs that were playing on the radio earlier. Watching kids play, was one of the things she liked about the park. It brings back the child in you and the memories also. She shrugged on what Leo said. Yeah people come to Oakwood for carnivals and what not; it was something that people got used to. To be honest, she kinda thinks it’s nice to see people from outside of Oakwood. Because she gets to see people mostly all over the world. "I wonder what’s going to happen this time. Oh well, I’m not worried about that right now." Sophia sighed as she buried her face in his chest.

What's going to happen this time?
That was what they were all wondering. Who was going to be snatched away, who was going to go missing? Was anyone going to slap the town with a lawsuit? Who was going to win? At least, many of the people Leo was around worried about it. There was as much bad publicity as there was good. It was a wonder they were still getting visitors, people who still wanted to come to this back water town to see the circus they could see anywhere else.
Well, not this exact Carnival, it only ever seemed to come here, and once winter rolled around, they packed up and simply disappeared.
But he didn't comment, no point in making her worry about it. He just rubbed her shoulders and closed his eyes. for a moment, smiling at the simplicity that was his. There was never any drama, nothing to worry about. Probably a good thing, word moved fast in a town like this.
With another look at all the children running around laughing, he said, "How many kids do you think we'll have?"

What was there to worry? It’s not like everything happens for a reason. Til it does, Sophia is just going to think about something else and not worry about. When something happens around the town, she freaks out and starts worrying. Most likely, everyone worries but hey they have reason for it. Like any other carnivals that come in town, she just wishes that nothing goes wrong. But the carnivals were different and like some people knew what happens to the disappearing people but other doesn’t. Sophia, herself doesn’t know what happens…to be fairly honest, sometimes she just doesn’t want to know.
She laughed lightly when Leo asked the question about on how many kids they’re going have. Sophia didn’t know the answer to that question. Because for once she never thought about and never talked about to Leo. Now that he brought it up, it was time to talk about it. She looked ahead that kids running around, playing tag, from what she can tell. "Hmmm… I’m thinking about two; one girl and one boy. Both of them would have eyes like you and little boy will have body like you. How about you?" It was true that she always wanted one girl and one boy so that both of them would get brother-sister love that some kids don’t have. ((OCC: sorry my posts are crappy today...I haven't gotten any sleep lately.))

Glad that she'd taken the bait to change the subject to something that wouldn't worry her he sighed and listen to her answer. "Only two?" He said. Sure he was one of two, and was decently close with his sister. But he'd always pictured himself having a bunch of kids.
"I always thought we'd have a little crew, 3, 4, 5? I dunno. I suppose I'm not the one who has to give birth to them. I'd just like a mix.... I just always pictured myself with a big family." Kyle said with a shrug. But whatever made her happy, would have to make him happy. He was going to spend his life with Sophia now, totally, and he had to think about her, and if she wanted two, well, he'd bee fine, but these things weren't planned. They'd just try to ahve kids and see what happened.
ooc- its okay

Two kids were enough for Sophia. She was never thought about having more then two kids. Sometimes, kids can be handful, especially when they start to walk, they’re everywhere. To her, she doesn’t mind as long as she can keep her kids in their play area and away from the kitchen or where she’s working at. No matter how many kids she has, she’s always going to love them equally and not spoil them. Sophia doesn’t want her kids to be spoiled and get whatever they want because other kids have it. Not since there going to be carnivals and people from city coming over.
Sophia let her imaginations go away. She pictured her life having more than two kids in her life. It was little hectic but both Leo and Sophia will manage. They always have been and always will be their entire life. But that was different who knows what’s going to happen next. She already decided on the fact that she doesn’t want to be stay-home mom but a working mom—like right now, she’s a teacher. And she knows that Leo is fine with her decision.
When let out a laugh on what Leo said about how many kids they want. He did have a point that he doesn’t need to give birth but she wanted to see Leo happy. "Don’t you think that having two adorable kids in the house is enough? Though I’m willing to go to four, only for you." Sophia knows that Leo wants to have big family with kids, but what worried her the most is the question: Are they going to have enough money to support the kids? Yeah she’s a teacher and earns pretty decent money, but she doesn’t think that it’ll be enough for the whole family if they have big family.

Leo laughed. Well, so life would be hectic, tiring and stressful, but it wouldn't be dull. They would have fun, and they could space them out so that the older ones could help with the little ones--if things went according to plan that is.... But you couldn't really plan kids, not really. "We'll just see what happens." Leo said. They might struggle with kids and money, but it takes a village to raise a child and they'd have help, that was the plus of having everyone know them.
"So what did you pack?" He asked nodding to the package that she had brought with her, no doubt it was food. Leo wasn't going to say he was hungry, just in case it wasn't food, because Sophia always felt uncomfortable when she couldn't take care of him.
ooc- sorry this sucks, i just didn't know what to say

Sophia pulled away from Leo, looking at his face. After long hours of working, she can tell that he was hungry. She was grateful that she made some food for both of them. She laughed as she reached for the basket when she heard Leo ask a question. Just as I suspected. Like her mom, who is great at cooking, Sophia is no where near her like that. She can cook, take care of people but when it came to cooking, she tries her best to cook. All of childhood was all about having fun and enjoying life while other girls her age were in the kitchen cooking with their mom. It didn’t bother her much; she’s learning how to cook for the whole family with her mom when both of them can. But she’s a fast learner, which is good for her.
Out of the basket, she took out two different kinds of sandwiches, individually wrapped. One was her favorite, peanut butter and jelly. Other one was Reuben – corned beef, baby Swiss, Thousand Island dressing, and Sauerkraut on Swirl Rye; which she got the recipe from the cooking book she had found in the kitchen. Sophia turned to face Leo with a small smile on her face. "So don’t laugh okay. I made peanut butter and jelly and Reuben. I don’t know that you’ll like it or not about Reuben but ma used to make for us everyday when we were kids. You can look through the basket if you like, I bought some other snacks that you like too." She didn’t know if Leo would like what she made for the first time, but she made him his favorite snack.
((OCC: that's fine. ))

"Hell, I'll try it," Leo said taking the ruben sandwich from her hands and taking a bite. He chewed and nodded thoughtfully, taking a second bite. He wasn't sure what he thought, but Leo had never been a picky eater, nor had he ever been a complainer. So he ate that while looking through the basket to see what else she brought. It made him eel like a school boy again, when they'd go out at lunch time and eat and laugh and kiss in the sunshine and run back to get to class on time.
He pulled out a bag of peanut butter cookies, one of his favorite things and ate one of those, holding his unfinished sandwich in the other hand. "Pretty good." He said.

Sophia watched Leo in awe as he ate what she made. The way he was eating she figured that he was pretty hungry after hard day. She wasn’t hungry anymore, because watching Leo eat and sun glowing on his hair took it away. Plus he was eating for her too. To her, Leo was her life and everything she asks for. He has the best qualities she can ask for in a guy which Leo happens to have. The only reason she fell in love with Leo was because his personalities, how he looks when he gets all dressed up, and well there’s so much things about him that she loves.
Earlier on the day Sophia made peanut butter cookies for Leo and her sister since both of them loves peanut butter cookies. She wasn’t totally into eating it, but she’ll eat it when she couldn’t find anything good to eat. Taking water bottle out of the basket, opened the cap and took a sip from the water. It felt good inside of her esophagus as the cold water made its way down to the stomach. She would laugh on little things that Leo would do, making her happy. "Well thank you very much." She said smiling.
Truth be told, she wanted to know what he was actually thinking. When she doesn't know what he's thinking or anything, she just goes crazy. "Babe, what are you thinking about?" Without being shy or anything she just came out and said it. Why would she be shy just to ask the question? He was her fiancé and soon to be her husband.
